Portsmouth (WEA) Local History Group

The Portsmouth WEA Local History Group meets at the Buckland Community Centre, Malins Road on a Tuesday evening from 7-9pm during term time.

We are an informal workshop group with around five members researching areas or topics of history and we welcome new members or visitors.

We are currently researching areas of around the town in preparation for revised booklets: covering streets around Eastney and Milton Roads, Stamshaw Road and Tangier Road.

Memories are always welcome on any area of Portsmouth for possible inclusion in forthcoming publications.
